Things we found of intrest when we first started. Also things we still find intresting and how far we have came.

This is a honey bee collecting pollen from our weeping willow tree spring of 2005.

I have a few of these so bare with me here.

This is how a feeder jar of syrup would look on a hive before I added a hive to surround it. We get the Jars free from  a local Pizza joint. They used to call us when they had about four but those girls have gone back to school so we now have to go ask for them. But the girls do save them for us still just don't call

OOPs stain is what I buy to stain my hives rather than use paint. A gallon cost us $5.00 and five gallons cost us $15.00 so we always look for the five gallon ones.

I build my own hive bodies and intercovers. Here are a few I did in the spring of 2005.
